| Am 1. Februar (Wiederholungen 2. und 3. Februar) findet in Wien die Weltpremiere des neuen Werks von Fazil Say statt. Es handelt sich um ein Auftragswerk von WIENER MOZARTJAHR 2006, es wird im Rahmen des WienMozart Festival 2006 aufgeführt. Kooperationspartner ist das Tanzquartier Wien Die Ballettkomposition, nach Motiven der A-dur-Sonate KV 331, ist instrumentiert für Klavier, Sopran, türkische Ney und türkisches Schlagzeug. Bei den Liveaufführungen tanzen Mitglieder der Tanz Company Elio Gervasi. |
Feburary 1st (repeats February 2nd and 3rd) will be the world premiere of Fazil Says’ newest composition, a ballet after themes of Mozarts’ piano sonata K. 331 for piano, soprano, Turkish ney and Turkish percussion. The piece is commissioned by WIENER MOZARTJAHR 2006 and part of the WienMozart Festival 2006. Coproducer is Tanzquartier Vienna. The music which will performed live by Fazil Say and his group is choreographed by the Dance Company Elio Gervasi. |
